So when I was just out of college and had a credit card balance over $1000 and an hourly wage job at $7.25 an hour I recognized I had to earn more than that if I was ever going to cover my obligations. I shared this grim realization with my group at the dinner table and was given the most direct advice I had ever been offered, "If you want to get ahead, go into sales."

At 5 the next morning, I was circling sales ads in the newspaper.

I found Network Marketing that week. Along with Network Marketing comes a whole trove of literature I have come to call Personal Development Material. On my path, I have read dozens of Books, listened to countless Audio Programs, attended Weekend Seminars, all with the curiosity to learn more of what makes us tick. Why do we get what we have and how can we shape that into more of what we want? I have become good at bringing into my life the situations I desire.

On my path I was given a book list that I feel has helped me in monumental ways. It elevated my awareness book by book and I suggest you read them too. At the time they were 'prescribed' in this order so I can only suggest you do the same. The gentleman who shared them is Randy Gage and if you ever have the chance to read one of his books or attend a function where he is speaking, you will be glad you were there. There is not a much nicer smarter guy than Randy Gage.

- The Magic of Thinking Big.
- The 7 Habits of Highly Successful People.
- Psycho-Cybernetics.
- The Eleventh Element.
- Atlas Shrugged.

Success is the progression realization of a worthy ideal. You are either materializing an image in your mind or allowing one to disintegrate around you. Wherever you find yourself today, first stop and be grateful you are aware of yourself! Let's celebrate each day we are each alive and healthy! Let's be grateful for all that we are and especially be grateful for being aware of our ability to steer ourselves to arrive wherever we desire to go.

Everything starts with a decision. That decision is a nucleus of energy that draws and attracts to it the energy or 'nutrients' it needs to grow into the physical image of that thought-decision. The stronger and more defined an image and the intensity of emotion backed behind it, the more similarly detailed the outcome will manifest in the material world.

Think back to time time you said to yourself you wanted to be something or have something? I remember I wanted to have a yellow belt in tae kwon do when I was younger. Were you ever in Martial Arts and wanted to achieve a new belt? What did you do? The exercises needed to achieve that skill level? Practice and train until it became a part of you?

The image was you in the new colored belt and the work needed was easy to do because you wanted it and got it!

What about your first car? How did you get that? Or your first house? If you are like me you got those things and were grateful to achieve that goal! Maybe like me you later realized you could also have been more specific in your request.

We must press on and learn to impress upon the formless substance our wants with our thoughts and desires and receive what we are ready to receive.

So I am going to dig some trenches to catch the rain that will fall and hope I can share insight on the process in order for you to better carve your path towards your goals and ideals.
